For two international adults, the current SDF calculation is 2 travellers × 6 nights × USD 100 = USD 1,200. If both travellers require visas, the current application fees add USD 80. This example excludes every tour service and is not an offer or final quote.

There is no single honest price for every traveller. The total depends on trip length, hotel category, group size, route, transport, guiding, meals, entry fees, flights and applicable government fees. Ask for an itemised quotation for your dates.
What is Bhutan’s Sustainable Development Fee?
At the time this guide was checked, the SDF for most international visitors was USD 100 per adult per night and USD 50 for children aged 6–11. Indian nationals paid INR/Nu 1,200 per adult per night and INR/Nu 600 for children aged 6–11. Children under 6 were exempt.
Is the Bhutan visa fee included in the SDF?
No. For visitors who require a visa, the official visa application fee is a separate one-time USD 40 charge. Entry arrangements differ for Indian nationals.
